Alex Fong, born February 26, 1980 is a professional swimmer-turned-actor and singer based in Hong Kong, nicknamed “Little Flying
Fish” for his swimming achievements. As of 2005, he holds several Hong Kong swimming records. He represented Hong Kong at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, but failed to reach the finals. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong.

Fong was believed to have had a relationship with Gillian Chung of the well known Cantonese pop group, Twins, after they returned from Switzerland. This had only lasted for 3 months, for unknown reasons. It was speculated that Fong was two-timing Chung with a Cookies group member, Stephy Tang. It is also possible that Chung had found someone else in England. They are now officially separated, and there is speculation that Alex Fong has been using these break-up rumours to increase his exposure and popularity. Fong has denied these allegations.
